Disneyland... on our way! At last!

View from our hotel room outside. The bus at the bottom is the shuttle that takes people to Disneyland.
The view from our floor down to the inside of the hotel. We would eat at the bottom every morning - a free hot breakfast with omlettes, hashbrowns, french toast, etc. We loved it. Our hotel - Embassy Suites - from the outside. We were on the 14th floor - the top.

After me wanting to take the girls to Disneyland for a while, we found a way to make it happen. We had so much fun and really enjoyed our family time together! It was truly a memorable trip - so much so that it was really hard to come home.

This is us on the airplane together - April 8, 2010. Eden hadn't flown since she was a baby, so this was really the first flight for our girls. They were so excited! One mental picture I have is of Dad, then Kyleigh, then Eden each pulling a rolling suitcase down the Calgary airport walkways. The sense of excitement was tangeable with each step.

The girls loved flying, but found it a little long towards the end. Poor Kyleigh kept asking "are we close to Disneyland yet, Mom?" Just hard to understand how far away California is. Cute.

  1. Ooo, how the anticipation is so great, I can just feel it. How fun that you could fly in an airplane together. Caden just said, "Aw, no fair, they got to ride in an airplane."
