Easter

I love Easter! I love the bright colors, sunshine, tips of green grass poking through the earth, flowers and spring dresses! And chocolate. MMMMMM! Most of all, I love the hopeful feeling this season brings! Here are a few shots of our Easter season.

As you can see, Berkley has an aversion to cameras. Hilarious since her Mom has so many cute photos of her! Apparently candy works wonders! So funny!

Looking for lady bugs in our back yard! A sure sign that spring is here! I love the curiosity of children and the delight they take in the world around them! I love the freckles, don't you? Did you also notice she got bangs too? Yup - Kyleigh has been wanting them ever since Eden gave herself some bangs in December and we got them fixed. If there was ever a girl who knows her own opinion about hair and clothes, it would be Kyleigh. After her haircut she was grinning away at herself in the mirror. Pretty cute!

Life begins at 40!

They say life begins at 40. I say that if that has to do with the quality of the people around you, my life certainly has begun! Lots of the good people in my life took the time to 'surprise' me with an early 40th birthday party in late March. So fun! Will, Carrie and Roxanne took the time to decorate, make my favorite foods, and invite my friends and family. Boy they were sneaky! Mom & Dad, Graham and Chelsea drove up from Calgary to be in on the surprise! How awesome is that? What a fabulous suprise! Here I am with my girlfriends after my Calgary family had gone home. Okay. So as I was going through my photos at Christmas, I realized there are not many of just Will and I. So - before our "date" (AKA excuse to get me out of the house for the suprise!) I decided it was time. Then after this episode I realized why there are not so many couple photos!

One of my most favorite presents on Christmas was this... the beautiful blue sky and frost. I love hoar frost and how it makes the world so enchanting. It brings joy to my heart!
