Christmas 2010

Christmas morning before the kids arrive.  Looks like fun!

Checking out what Santa left in the stockings

Wow!  Look at all of this!  We're lucky!

New sleds
Santa brought Kyleigh an ipod and Eden a DS

Dad gave Mom a cuddly blanket

Gifts to Eden & Kyleigh from Raylene and Levi

Necklaces from me to the 3 girls.  I made these - putting their initials and "CTR" on each.

I love Kyleigh's expression here, opening scooters from Uncle Ryan

And for me, Christmas 2010 will always be remembered by this gift: a smoker for Will.  After eating smoker meat at Mike & Cynthia's Will had not stopped talking about smokers.  I ordered one over the phone and stored it at a friend's house so Will would not know.  A few days before Christmas, Levi helped me move it downstairs, where it waited for Will on Christmas morning.  He was as delighted as I had hoped!

Like a little boy in a candy store

Later on Christmas day with my girls!

Kyleigh and Eden got a barbie makeup kit for Christmas.  This was Kyleigh's first effort.  She LOVES purple, as you can tell!

A couple days after Christmas, and Will's trying the smoker.  It was a bit hard to get going, but it finally did!

And here's the results.  Yummy ribs!

We all loved this meal!

Decorating the Christmas tree

Eden was asked to be Mary for our ward Christmas party.  She was delighted, and was a very regal Mary.

Kyleigh was our beautiful little angel

Raylene's birthday.  It's always fun when she & Levi visit!

Letters to Santa.  Decorated beautifully!

Making the gingerbread house.

MMMMMMM!

 Having fun decorating!

Out to see the ice sculpture at Parkland Greenhouse.  This was on the night of our picnic under the Christmas tree - a new favorite family tradition!

Christmas eve dinner at my Mom & Dad's.  Always delicious - and fun to be with our family!

Singing happy birthday to Jesus.

With my honey.

And my Calgary sisters!

Eden was the Innkeeper - and Kyleigh was thrilled to be Mary.  After seeing Eden at the Christmas party, it was great that Kyleigh got to have a turn.

With Corbin - who was Joseph.

And Channing - who was baby Jesus!

Kyleigh was proud of herself that she held Channing all on her own!

With Dad!
